VMware vSphere Engineer vacancy for our Zurich based client in the financial sector.
Your tasks:
* Designing, Engineering and Documenting vSphere x86 Platform such as ESXi, Vcenter, NSX-T and VEOPs
* Defining and guiding x86 virtualization Roadmap
* Guaranteeing smooth operation of all vShere platforms, Incident and ChangeMgmt
* Setting up, initiating, monitoring and optimizing of the companies worldwide virtualization stack
* Working in different migration and HW/SW lifecycle projects as well as participating in continuous automation implementations and enhancing processes and services
* Defining operational processes in IT infrastructure area
Your experience/knowledge:
* 5+ years of experience as VMware Engineer especially in VMware VSphere 6.x/7.x
* 3+ years of working experience in Enterprise IT environments
* Several years of experience in VMware-Cluster, Networking and Kubernetes plus storage Know-how
* Good know-how in server hardware field plus experience in automation and scripting with PowerShell, Perl, Python, JavaScript, REST and JSON
* Certification in VCP, NCDA, ITIL-Foundation or IT ServiceMgmt
* Languages: German and English fluent in written and spoken, any other language is a plus

* Independent, structured and target-oriented work methods
