A global Life Science company who develop and manufacture state of the art equipment used around the world in a number of different industries, are looking for a Senior European Project Manager to join their team.

As a Project Manager you will drive and manage the project portfolio & the operational program of the European and Latino America manufacturing organization for consumables (8 manufacturing sites in a worldwide environment). The Senior Project Manager will also be responsible for…….

*Working cross-functionally at the senior management level and are be the primary contact person for projects for key stakeholders and partners, interacting at worldwide level
*Implementing efficient PM processes, methodologies, tools and drive continuous improvement
*Developing and coaching the team to implement a culture of project management and drive the organization towards project management excellence
*Ensuring that projects and operational programs are managed according to expected time, quality and cost and ensure that right controls and governances are in place to ensure this
*Creating risk-management assessment, advise executives and monitor risk factors continually

To be successful as a Senior Project Manager you possess strong project management experience with certification and you are used to use tools and methodologies like Lean 6 Sigma, breakdown structures, critical path analysis, Gantt charts. The ideal Senior Project Manager will have…….

*Strong financial background for financial simulations and analytical skills
*Excellent communication, interpersonal and decision making skills with a demonstrated leadership in managing teams in a matrix organization
*Business and customers oriented, are able to deal with a high level of uncertainty and are stress resistant
*Fluency in English, have excellent moderation and presentation skills and are proficient in Microsoft Office, Visio and Project Software
*A minimum of 6 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, ideally in a Manufacturing/Quality / Operations field

The successful Senior Project Engineer will receive a very competitive salary, great benefits package and challenging and varied working environment. The role can be based in either Switzerland or the UK and will see the Senior Project Manager travelling 30% of the time.
