Are you looking to progress your career? If so my client who is one of the largest global independently-owned specialist medical communications agencies with over 200 employees is looking for a Review Specialist to be based in their Abingdon office.

Working in a supportive and dynamic team you will be responsible for:
* Working closely with Medical Writers, proof reading documents, abstracts as well as admissions.
* Undertake information research on meetings, journals, publications and external experts, and accurately record for future reference
* Review projects in conjunction with the Events and Editorial teams -assisting these departmental project managers ensuring timelines are met
* Set up and manage project status sheets
* Maintain awareness of project budgets and timelines
* Source venues for external meetings and obtain relevant information relating to meeting requirements
* Liaise with external suppliers, including congress secretariats and hotel staff
* Coordinate travel and logistics
* Compile and track invitations welcome / logistics letters, feedback forms, contacts sheets and onsite packs
* Accurately maintain project-related databases, updating project team on key activities as appropriate
* Support project leads in developing schedules and obtaining quotes for projects
* Attend project update meetings, and where appropriate, liaise with clients
* Attend client meetings (in the office) where appropriate

This is a varied and challenging position which would suit someone looking to progress into an editorial function. My client is well known for developing and helping you grow into your chosen field by mapping out a career path.

* To perform this job successfully you will have:
* At least 18 months administrative support experience ideally within a similar role.
* Bachelor's degree in communications or English highly preferred
* IT proficient in MS Office - Word, PowerPoint and Excel
* Proficiency in Internet and PubMed searches
