Regulatory Manager EMEA region

SRG are looking for a Chemical Regulatory Manager to join a long established (over 100 years) producer of speciality chemicals in Greater Manchester. Based within the Management team this position will manage the regulatory department and be a key figure in the business.
The role:
Managing the Regulatory department based in Manchester, the responsibilities of this position will include:
* Manage a team of 3 regulatory associates.
* Ensure regulatory compliance for all products across the site.
* Provide expert regulatory advice to the senior leadership team, identifying emerging trends and risks to business.
* Liaise with Regulatory bodies & agencies, managing any regulatory issues.
Core working hours will be 08:30 - 16:45 Monday - Friday.
Required:
* A degree or equivalent qualification within Chemistry, Toxicology or a related field.
* Proven experience of regulatory affairs over multiple geographic locations.
* A strong knowledge of the REACh registration process, GHS SDS, CLP, dangerous goods / hazardous materials transportation requirements and product risk management.
* Previous supervisory experience within a professional environment.
* A full UK Driving Licence and the flexibility to travel when required.
* Eligibility to work within the UK.
In return the company is offering a generous salary of £50,000 - £60,000 (depending on experience), Car allowance, 33 days annual leave, a contributory pension scheme, and flexible working hours.
