Do you have substantial experience of quality activities relating to Pharmaceutical Manufacturing / Production?

Would you like to work for a leading, international Pharmaceutical company?

Taking a key role in the Quality Department, reporting to the QA Manager, the Quality Specialist will be responsible for management of suppliers and service providers ranging from manufacturing and automated packaging to distribution activities throughout Europe. The role is a key external facing role which requires but strong GMP/GDP understanding as well as the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. The role will likely involve travel, maybe 1 trip a month, to 3rd party service provideres (CROs & CMOs).

The company has a strong development and on-market portfolio, with a small, friendly QA team based on site at their facility in Berkshire. You'll form part of that team ensuring on-going product quality through production, packaging and distrobution.

Key responsibilities will include;

* Plan and maintain an overall audit schedule of contractors and suppliers based on an appropriate risk assessment and qualification process.
Maintain strong working relationships with 3rd party reps, ensuring best practise across the partnership.
* Contribute to the development, maintenance and improvement of supplier management policies, standards and procedures.
* Track supplier quality on a monthly/quarterly basis, identify supplier non-conformance trends and implement appropriate supplier actions.
* Prepare and maintain GMP documentation such as standard operating procedures and Quality Technical Agreements.
* Liaise with suppliers for the management of returned/defective product.
* Ensure that the requirements and conditions of the Company's product licences and submissions are reflected in the manufacturing, technical, and testing processes and procedures.

To be considered for the role you will need the following skills and experience;

* Substantial experience working in a Pharmaceutical Quality or Pharmaceutical Production/Manufacturing role.
* Industry experience of manufacturing, automated packaging and distribution sites (GMP and GDP)
* Ability to negotiate with third parties on Quality processes
* Degree level plus further qualification in auditing desirable.
* First rate communication skills with excellent written and spoken English
* Well organised, with strong planning skills and an ability to grasp complex and multifactorial data quickly.
* Resilience and confidence, clear thinking and ability to deliver to tight timescales.
* Personable and empathetic, with the ability to understand conflicting viewpoints and ability to influence leading to problem resolution.
* Pro-Active approach with a sense of urgency.
