Microbiologist based in the Cheshire area paying up to £26,000
SRG are currently looking for a Microbiologist to join a CRO company who are on site for a key pharmaceutical company based in the Cheshire area. We are looking to hire 2 microbiologists to support with the testing on various pharmaceutical products using a wide range of microbial techniques.
As a Microbiologist you will be carrying out key tests such as Environmental Monitoring, ensuring that clean rooms are sterile. Undertake testing of key components, which includes testing of process samples, Raw Materials (within 2 days of receipt), T.V.A.C, Bacterial Endotoxin testing and bacterial identification. You will be responsible for recording all information and findings to company and global regulations. You will be working a continental shift patter to support with the continues work involved on site.
Key Requirements;
- Be educated to BSc level or equivalent within a Biology/Microbiology sector.
- Hands on experience working within a Microbiology position, ideally within a pharmaceutical sector.
- Proven experience with Microbial techniques including; Environmental Monitoring, Total Viable Counts and working aseptically to reduce contamination.
- Strong microbial experience and firm understanding of pharmaceutical regulations such as GMP.
- Comfortable with working a continental shift pattern.
