SRG is working with a growing Biotechnology company in London whose technology will be at the cutting edge of cellular therapeutics; uniting protein engineering, gene-therapy and synthetic biology approaches to cellular engineering. The company has a differentiated product pipeline coupled with a strong technology platform to ensure long-term sustainability.
We are looking for a Project Manager to co-ordinate day to day project activities across drug discovery and therapeutic development projects. Reporting to the Director of Project Management, you will work on projects across research, manufacturing, clinical, regulatory and commercial, and to ensure timely delivery to meet overall project timelines.
The company are still in early stages and most work is still in the R&D laboratory based phase. This is a highly visible role in the organisation, working with cell biologists, molecular biologists as well as the Senior Leadership team. You will also prepare briefing materials for Investor and Senior Management team meetings as well as prepare grant/funding applications.
To be considered you'll need experience in the following areas;
Essential
* PhD in Biology/Biochemistry/Cell Biology/Immunology or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
* Good understanding of molecular biology, protein expression, immunology and cell biology
* Experience of working in cross-functional drug discovery and/or development teams within pharma or biotech
* Experience of project management or leadership of drug discovery and/or development programs within a Biotech environment
* Excellent communication skills
* Proactive, positive, dynamic, 'can-do' approach required to succeed and deliver within a fast moving biotech environment
Experience in any of the following areas would be an advantage;
* Oncology drug discovery and/or development projects
* Advanced Therapy Medicinal Product (ATMP) discovery and development
* MS Project planning tool or similar
