Pricing & Market Access Consultant - London

A fantastic opportunity with a global consultancy who specialise in launching products, services and offerings to life science clients. Due to growth, we are looking for an experienced PRICING & MARKET ACCESS professional to join the team in PRIME, CENTRAL LONDON office. Offering a fast-paced, progressive yet friendly work environment committed to promoting the ambitions of talented individuals.

As a Pricing, Market Access Consultant your responsibilities would be:
*Project manager for pricing and market access project work with strong secondary
research emphasis for pharmaceuticals/biotechnology products with global remit
*Taking responsibility for creating client-ready reports, presentations and other
client deliverables with senior team guidance
*Managing all stages of consulting project work for strategic and operational
pricing, market access due diligence and price & revenue analytics
*Leading the project team of analysts with overall responsibility for the quality of
end deliverables
*Performing qualitative (scientific, clinical, commercial) and quantitative analyses
*Contributing to the preparation, execution and follow up of client
workshops/training
*Manage ad hoc services as well as consultancy projects while working with cross-
functional teams
*Developing recommendations and exercising informed business judgement to address
client issues
*Building professional relationships with members of the client team
*Attendance of key medical and commercial conferences
*Support proposal development and business development
*Maintain, update or develop internal materials needed for daily activities
*Proactively developing knowledge of the healthcare industry and consulting
methodologies
*Contributing to recruitment and expansion of team, as well as team training and
mentoring

Requirements for the position:
*Understanding of different healthcare settings and Pricing and reimbursement of
medicines in major EU markets; solid understanding of key pricing mechanisms and
approaches, HTA and market access
*Knowledge of pharmaceutical/biotech pricing and access; any deeper pricing expertise
is a plus
*In-depth understanding of a medicine's life-cycle including the development,
regulatory and commercial aspects of global markets
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills, deep understanding of consulting
content, presentation and reporting skills
*An advanced degree (MSc, MPharm, MBA, PhD) in a life sciences related field
(including health policy/ health economics and similar)
*Ability to formulate proposals
*Proven analytical, interpretative and problem-solving skills
*Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
*Good commercial awareness to include understanding of sales and marketing tactics in
the pharmaceutical industry
*Excellent IT literacy e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel and web-based applications
*Excellent project management, time management and organizational skills
*Attention to detail and ability to deliver high quality work within defined
timelines
*A strong motivation to thrive in a client-focused, international team environment
