Search Scientific consultancy is a recruitment partner to an Global water Microbiology testing laboratory who are looking for a Technical Services coordinator to join their team based in Surrey. This person will be responsible in assisting the laboratory in applying the best practice and interpretation of results
Key responsibilities:
* Support laboratory remembers in supplying interpretation of results
* Report and communicate results to clients and to issue client certificates and out of specifications
* Produce client specific reports with final predictions with a high level of quality and technical competence
* Follow up on sample status, reporting and interpretation of results
* Advise customers on relevant testing methods based on current industrial standards such as ISO17025.
* Provide a high level of internal and external customer care
* Set up and maintenance of client suites and specifications in Eurofins IT systems including preparing and updating quotations for existing customers
* Support the sales team in the identification of customers needs and recommendation of testing requirements
* Keep up to date with current techniques, topics and legislation that order to advise Eurofins and its customers on accurate implementation of their requirements
* Day to day management of the Microbiology accounts to include some client visits.
* Raising and investigating customer queries and complaint
Requirements
* Degree in Science or equivalent
* Experience in working as Microbiologist in Water Microbiology testing laboratory
* Excellent understanding of ISO17025 standards
* Excellent written and communication skills
