Medical Adviser - Cardiovascular/ Stroke Prevention

To provide medical expertise to support the Company's products and services within the NHS environment and provide medical support to other functions including the MAPOR, Regulatory, Drug Safety and Clinical Research Departments.
Accountabilities
* Provide a medical perspective to the development of UK medico-marketing strategy and contribute to the design and approval of promotional materials to position and support the Company's products.
* Provide medical interpretation of data required for reports (e.g. Health Technology Appraisals, Expert Statements, PSURs, Drug Safety Medical Assessments)
* Actively contribute to the development of Phase IV study programmes and facilitate
the Investigator Initiated Study Process
* Take a lead role in the medical plan for the managed entry of products into the market
* Provide medical training to field force representatives and other internal customers
* Lead advisory boards for key opinion leaders providing facts and data
Required Capabilities ( skills, experiences and additional competencies)
Skills & Experience
* Experience of liaising with Medical Key Opinion Leaders
* Experience of liaising with higher level NHS Organisations
* Experience of interacting with Patient Groups
Entry (Minimum requirements for role holder at Entry)
* Medically qualified and GMC registered. To maintain status as a licensed doctor
* Preferably with a higher qualification, e.g. MRCP or equivalent
* Preferably industry or clinical trial experience
* Preferably medical experience appropriate to the therapeutic area - Cardiovascular and Stroke Prevention
* If new to industry they must have relevant primary care or general medical experience for greater than 4 years post qualification
