Market Access Director - London

Paramount recruitment is currently working with a well-established, international organisation within the pharmaceutical industry based in London. They are looking for a Market Access Director to undertake a full time, permanent position which will be office based.

The company operates globally from offices based across Europe, USA and Asia and specialises in providing market access and pricing, strategic consulting, health economics and outcomes research to scientific and healthcare industries.

As a Market Access Director you will be providing senior business leadership for the Market Access team and to drive profitable growth of both Market Access department and company overall. Projects undertaken will involve understanding the market landscape to define opportunities, developing brand and value strategy, communicating product and brand value and building client capability.

Key Responsibilities:
*Lead client relationships ensuring that existing business can be protected and grow
*Discover new business opportunities in collaboration with senior colleagues and in line with the business plans
*Set the vision for the business and ensure effective implementation to meet business KPIs
*Comprehend, credibly challenge and enhance client project briefs
*Provide visible, motivational and decisive leadership to project team members, providing support and guidance on client and project issues, enabling the project team to achieve their objectives and ensure high performance and progression of team members
*Through effective line management ensure training development and performance management of the Market Access team in general and of all direct line reports
*Leading financial management across clients and projects and responsibility for timely and effective delivery of responses to client briefs on pricing and market issues.
*Troubleshoot and handle objections from the client to ensure continuing good relationships

Requirements:
*Extensive Market Access background and experience
*Experience in leading Market Access projects and teams
*Experience in working within a pharmaceutical industry or healthcare consultancy environment
*Experience in line managing junior team members
*Directing and leading client relationships experience
*Strong communication and presentation skills
*The ability to articulate complex ideas in a concise, understandable manner
*Strong collaborative style and dedication to timely project delivery
*Good understanding of consultative selling and strategic consulting technique
