Market Access Business Partner - London

Paramount recruitment are currently working with an international company that has one of the largest global networks in healthcare communications. They are looking for a Market Access Business Partner to join the team and take on a permanent role in their London based office.

The company specialise in a range of disciplines including market access, consulting, medical communications, public relations, clinical trial management and advertising. As part of the Market Access team you will be covering policy and payer insights to support global clients, communicating the value of their new products.

As a Market Access Business Partner you will be responsible for leading and strategically supporting a variety of client programmes.

Key Responsibilities:
*Leading the development and execution of market access campaigns at EU/Global/UK levels, including the impact of public policy to support clients across a range of policy challenges
*Providing strategic advice to top-tier clients on a range of political, policy and patient advocacy challenges
*Building and maintaining relationships with leading political, policy and patient advocacy stakeholders on behalf of the client and agency
*Securing and leading business pitches for business development and gaining new clients
*Supporting and coaching colleagues and aiding the development of the team as a whole
*Supporting the Managing Partner on operations through effective budgeting, support on forecasting and strategic planning
*Support the wider integration of the Market Access team within the agency, able to find the 'market access' angle for other agency clients

Skills and requirements:
*Public affairs background ideally having worked in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector, with experience working at UK and EU/global levels
*Proven track record of driving major campaigns within large agency networks
*Experience of handling and / or communicating to payer audiences (NICE/other HTA submissions, global value dossiers)
*A Bachelor's degree with proven experience in public affairs / government affairs agency work and/or in industry at UK, EU and/or global level
*Expert knowledge of European and UK pharmaceutical industries and strong understanding of current issues in the healthcare policy and public affairs space.
*Strong problem-solving, collaborative and influencing abilities delivered to high-level political and policy stakeholders
*Demonstrated record of finding and winning new clients through proactive outreach, proposal drafting and pitching
*Previous experience of coaching members of staff and ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
*Is motivated to develop self and the wider team by proactively keeping aware of current issues and thinking within the market access industry
*Excellent written skills, including finely-honed presentation skills
*Excellent financial and budgeting skills, with ability to contribute to reliable business forecasting
