Lead Clinical Research Associate - Permanent

Competitive salary, Midlands, Medical Device company, office-based!

A new Lead CRA is required to join a medical device company that utilises and applies advanced Quantum Physics principles to rapidly detect a range of medical conditions that could potentially be life-threatening. Due to solid structure, built on 10 years of research, this successful company has met many commercial milestones since their establishment, and is up for numerous awards.

As a Lead CRA you will be joining a team that is currently working with patients at four different sites across the UK, where they are using their own medical device to aid decision-making.

Your responsibilities as a Lead CRA include:
*Assisting in setting up and managing company-sponsored clinical studies, developing strong relationships at the various sites
*Coordinating both external and internal stakeholders to assist in set-up, implementation and delivery of clinical studies
*Ensuring overall integrity of clinical studies and adherence to regulatory standars, ICH GCP, protocol and company SOPs
*Providing leadership and coordination for clinical studies and participating in identifying and selecting investigators and clinical sites
*Overseeing clinical studies, performing on-site visits and monitoring activities as required

An ideal Lead CRA should meet the following criteria:
*Degree in Life Sciences, Nursing or equivalent.
*At least 5 years' clinical research experience as a CRA preferably within the medical device or cardiology sector and at least 1 year as Project Lead/Lead Clinical Research Associate or Team Manager.
*In depth knowledge of ICH-GCP and a working knowledge of ISO 14155.
*Experience of protocol design in accordance with ISO 14155 and submission to relevant ethics committees and other regulatory stakeholders.
*Proactive communication skills with a collaborative and inclusive personal style at home in a small and dynamic team as well as in front of a larger professional audience.
*Good project management skills with the ability to initiate action and deliverables through others in the clinical team.
*The ability to interpret data on project issues and make good business decisions, with support from experienced team members and management.
*Role will involve travelling so the candidate must have a driver's licence
