Junior Health Economist - Cheshire

Paramount recruitment is currently working with an expanding, international organisation within the pharmaceutical industry based in Cheshire. They are looking for a Junior Health Economist to undertake a full time, permanent position which will be office based.

The company specialises in providing market access, health economics, value and medical communications and consultancy services to pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. As a Junior Health Economist you will undergo extensive development and training and will be offered career progression opportunities.

The role will consist of working with the Project Lead to ensure that all the health economic attributes of projects undertaken will be completed with high quality standards to meet the scope of the projects and the clients' needs.

Key responsibilities:
*Delivering expertise in health economic modelling, costings, meta-analyses and budget impact
*Undergoing modelling projects, including cost-effectiveness models and budget impact models
*Keeping up to date with all aspects of reimbursement landscape and market access
*Maintaining current knowledge of the perspectives and evidence needs of stakeholders involved in healthcare evaluations
*Providing mentoring and Health Economic direction to junior staff members (depending on experience)

Requirements:
*MSc in Health Economics
*Experience in building budget impact models, cost-effectiveness economic models and interpreting economic models
*Experience completing meta-analyses and systematic reviews
*Experience in multitasking multiple short term projects
*Experience in SAS or SPSS is desirable
*Experience in a Health Technology Assessment (HTA) organisation or consultancy environment is also desirable
*1+ years' experience in applied Health Economics desirable but not required
*Visual Basic and Market Access knowledge desirable
