Job Description R&D Associate - Aircare

Our client is a hugely successful global FMCG company which holds a strong position in the FTSE 20. This organisation is the name behind many market leading healthcare, personal care and household products.

The working environment is fast paced and multi-cultural where pride is taken in achievement and where there is a personal commitment to delivery.

As a result of continued success our client is seeking an individual to join an already successful and high profile Research & Development team within the Aircare category.

Key responsibilities are expected to include:
- Lead development of the product innovation process within R&D
- Conducting pre feasibility experiments on identified technologies
- Supporting the delivery of samples into market research testing
- Continually building understanding of consumer behaviour and home environments across the geographical regions
- Developing and maintaining a strong working relationship with key contacts both inside and outside of the business

The successful candidate is expected to have:
- To be of graduate calibre with a relevant scientific degree
- Previous project management experience of new product development
- Experience of working for an FMCG company on consumer led products
- A relevant technical background, such as aerosols & sprays, powered devices or fragranced aircare
- A relevant MSc or PhD would prove advantageous
- Clear and confident communication skills and an ability to work to tight deadlines
- Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail
