Job Description We are an international Pharma company currently looking for strong candidates to become key members of the Clinical Operations team in Switzerland, the ideal candidate must demonstrate interest in the clinical development of drugs, biologicals and / or medical devices. With at least 6 years of experience in monitoring trials to ICH GCP standards with experience and knowledge of EDC (Electornic Data Capture) , you will work in a team of specialised professionals providing high quality clinical research solutions in the role of CRA.

Key aspects of this role are:
• Performing clinical trial initiation, monitoring and close out activities while adhering to all applicable regulatory and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Study Specific Operating Procedures.
• Act as a member of the project team with the goal to contribute towards efficient management of trials.
• Communicate effectively with site personnel, including the principal investigator, and our company’s management to relay protocol/study deviations and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
• Contribute to clinical trial document development as they pertain to clinical monitoring activities (i.e. study manuals, etc).
• Responsible for maintaining the trial master file
• Oversees all aspects of study site management to ensure high quality data resulting in consistently low queries and in good Quality Assurance reports.

Applicants will have:
• A life sciences, healthcare or nursing degree.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
• At least 6 years experience as a CRA in either a CRO or within the Pharmaceutical industry.
• Critical care therapeutic area experience.
• A good understanding of clinical trials and superior knowledge of ICH-GCP and EDC (Electronic Data Capture).
• Excellent attention to detail and established organisational skills.
• Demonstrated flexibility, professionalism and good interpersonal skills.
You must be willing to travel nationally. This is contract position and home based to last 18 months starting 1st of June 2010.
