R&D Analytical Sciences Laboratory Manager

The primary purpose of this role is the leadership and day-to-day management of the R&D Analytical Sciences Laboratory to ensure it meets the requirements of relevant industry guidelines. These will include: cGMP, the global regulatory authorities for pharmaceutical development (including FDA, MHRA and EMEA), and the MHRA for the analysis and release of Investigational and Medicinal Products (IMPs) and the UK Health and Safety regulations.

Skills and experience sought:
* A graduate background in Chemistry (or other scientific subject relevant to the role)
* Experience and knowledge of practical and theoretical pharmaceutical laboratory analysis and of the relevant industry/regulatory guidelines.
* A proven track record of leading and managing an analytical laboratory.
* An ability to identify and implement continuous improvements in terms of efficiency and compliance.
