Position Senior Research Scientist - Immunology Apitope

Job Description This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and talented Senior Scientist to join the Apitope research team led by Professor David Wraith (CSO & Founder of Apitope), working in the field of multiple sclerosis to progress several discovery programmes. You must have a strong understanding of immunology and primary mammalian cell culture techniques, combined with experience of relevant models of autoimmune disease or allergy.

Apitope is recognised as a world-leader in the research and development of novel therapeutic peptides to address critical unmet needs in the treatment of chronic autoimmune disoders. The company's innovative technology has attracted significant investment and forms the basis of a research, development and commercialisation agreement with a major global pharma company.

The successful applicant will be educated to PhD level and have relevant post-doctoral experience in an immunology research environment together with strong immunology technical competencies.
