With an excellent reputation working with an impressive list of the top biopharmaceutical clients my client specialises in engaging and communicating with patients and healthcare professionals ranging from clinical trial awareness to medical education.

Main Purpose of Role:
*The focal point will be leading a global team of medical directors and medical writers, defining the medical strategy for projects and business development.
*Working closely with their Head of Creative Direction ensuring that campaigns are engaging and accurate from both a creative and content perspective
*Positioning the team in order to meet the needs of the evolving business identifying opportunities for growth and development.
*Manage staff in accordance with organisation's policies and applicable legislation.
Essential Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge to Succeed within this position:
*Extensive experience of defining medical strategy and content development
*Extensive, demonstrable knowledge of all aspects of medical communications, the industry and healthcare trends and drivers
*Clinical trials exposure preferable but not essential
*Strong influencing and negotiation skills
*Ability to plan, budget, forecast and allocate medical writing staff for existing and new business
*Demonstrable therapy area expertise
*Strong analytic and problem solving ability
*Strong management skills
