Product Sales Manager - Global position requires travel both within the UK and overseas. From time to time overnight stays, some of an extended nature, will be required.

My client is seeking a proven business leader to join their global product sales leadership team. Reporting into the Head of Sales, this key role will drive the business development efforts for nanometrics product portfolio, consisting of Nano-particle Tracking Analysis and Dynamic Light Scattering technologies.

The ideal candidate is a team oriented sales leader, with the ability to manage a team of regional product specialists through influence in a matrix organizational structure. Prior experience with imaging and light scattering techniques is desirable. You must be able to bring your ideas and courage of your convictions in order to collaborate on ideas that will change their business.

Key Responsibilities:
Takes ownership of, and drives and supports the achievement of the global sales plan for the nanometrics product portfolio.
Is the global sales champion for the Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis and Dynamic Light Scattering technologies and ensures best representation of these product lines and engagement with customer.
Ability to deliver knockout presentations at all levels in the organization, both internally and externally.
A vital conduit between our customers and Product Management/NPI to ensure exciting portfolio development and growth.
Develops sales enablement content, marketing strategy and campaigns in conjunction with marketing teams.
A Ph.D. in a relevant science is preferred, but the energy and drive to be Nanometrics portfolio commercial guru is more important.
