Development Project Manager - Cheshire

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Development Project Manager to join a leading medical device company based in Cheshire. As an organisation they offer a strong portfolio of scientifically advanced products and they operate on a global scale.

As the Development Project Manager you will report directly to the Head of Development and key responsibilities will include:

*Design, plan, manage and document specified projects within the Company's R& D activities, in compliance with the Company's Quality Management Systems and Regulatory requirements
*To provide scientific and technical input into all stages of the product development program, including laboratory, pre-clinical and clinical studies.
*To identify and liaise with external contract laboratories and organisations
*To provide scientific and technical support to internal departments, such as
marketing and regulatory

This diverse role will allow you to contribute across the whole of the product life span. You will be involved in scientific input for regulatory studies, process & product improvement, marketing studies and new product development. This is a great opportunity to apply your scientific background in a development role and to take a lead on driving projects and products forward.

To be considered for this opportunity you must be educated to minimum of BSc level in a scientific subject (Chemistry, biological sciences or physics), MSc/PhD level preferred. This educational background will be coupled with strong experience within an R&D group in the medical device and/or pharmaceutical industry. You will have extensive experience in product development, either at the bench in a research management role, or in a project management function. It is essential that candidates hold an excellent scientific and technical background to apply to this commercial role.
