Description

Dairy product sales manager - field based role

Paying competitive salary plus excellent additional benefits

Due to investment and continued growth, my client is looking for a dairy product sales manager join their team that specialise in testing and analysis for UK dairy market.



Responsibilities:

Your role as a dairy product sales manager would be to support their external customers in the dairy sector with management of resources such as forage, soil, manure, water by educating them in how accurate lab analysis can increase the livestock productivity. Hence to explain how they can utilise my client's services.

You will be responsible for all business development activities within the UK dairy market for my client including sales & marketing and product development. You will drive growth in sales through higher market shares and delivery of value added analysis to our customers.

You will be responsible for managing the start to end process of coordinating the laboratory and customer support functions, to ensure our customers receive excellent service.



For you to be successful in this role:

Essential

Degree in Agriculture or multiple years of experience in the dairy market.

Excellent understanding of the needs of livestock farmers. Specifically forage and soil/fertilisation

Ability to explain the technical aspects of what my client can offer to dairy farm owners/ businesses and advice them accurately.

Excellent experience in sales, business development, marketing and account management

Tenacious and target driven

Excellent presentation, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills

Strong organisational, multi-tasking and time management skills
