Commercial Product Manager

Bioinformatics & Genomics - 100,000 Genomes Project - Propositions, Commercial Department!

Paramount are working in partnership with Genomics England to expand their team in order to deliver success with the 100,000 Genomes Project. This is a challenging and fast moving project with the aim to carry out whole genome sequencing on 100,000 participants.
Currently the Commercial Division are looking for an experienced Commercial Product/Propositions Manager to develop, launch and manage commercially advantageous B2B solutions based on compelling product and service-based propositions that make a significant impact.

This role would be ideal for someone with a strong background in Product Management in Life Sciences or data-centric industry (ideally Pharma or CRO background).

Your main responsibilities as a Commercial Product/Propositions Manager will include:
*Contributing to the development of the overall commercial strategy for the company and the development and execution of strategic propositions and product roadmaps for the organisation
*Continually researching and analysing the market to identify changing customer needs, the competitive landscape and external environment to ensure the liability proposition remains in line with customer, market and commercial requirements.
*Creating B2B proposition strategies across different lines of business
*Translating proposition strategies into deliverables and working with internal and external stakeholders to develop compelling propositions and supporting investment/business cases and go to market implementation plans
*Identifying and resolving blocks to implementation of proposition plans with stakeholders
*Creating and maintaining content, including marketing collateral to support the propositions internally and externally
*Developing strong relationships with key business stakeholders
*Working with external and internal teams to help with the successful roll out of the proposition.

The ideal candidate will fulfil the following requirements:
*Product / Product Management experience in life sciences or related data centric industry (Pharma, CRO, similar company)
*Strong understanding of data driven proposition development and implementation.
*Strong commercial and financial acumen - can identify, size and explain a business opportunity.
*Experience of bringing together multiple component parts across a complex portfolio , blending products with infrastructure and transactional services
*A track record of using Agile methodologies to launch propositions and products
*Ability to demonstrate a strong capability for distilling complex scenarios into clear propositions
*Creative with strong organisational and project management skills and a sustainable results focused outlook.
*Excellent understanding of data and reporting to utilise in compiling business cases with clearly evidence recommendations for action.
