Clinical Trial Manager

Clinical Studies- Project Management- Budgets- CRO- Oncology- Haematology- Phase I-III- ICH/GCP

An opportunity has become available for a Clinical Trial Manager to join a full-service CRO who's dedicated team work to meet each client's specific needs including data management, safety, medical monitoring and imaging.

The company are located in the Macclesfield area and they are looking for a Clinical Trial Manager who will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and management of monitoring services for clinical projects including direct communication and interaction with CTAs, CRAs, CPMs and Medical monitors.

As a Clinical Trial Manager you will:
*Be responsible for management of the clinical trial process from project start
*Assist in the identification of project staff
*Manage and provide project training to CTA/CRAs
*Train the team on the company's time metrics of tasks and budgets- review and approvals
*Development of project plans and documents
*Lead the Clinical Trial Management (monitoring) plan
*Ensure project consistency following the company's SOPs and guidelines
*Prepare project specific report templates
*Ensure site contracts and budget delivery via CRAs
*Conduct project co-monitoring of CRAs for quality
*Involved in the preparation and management of Investigator meetings
*Involved in audit preparation
*Communicate with sponsors and sites as required
*Take responsibility for a key project specific issue
*Perform CRA visits when required

An ideal Clinical Trial Manager will have:
*Life Sciences degree
*Experience in managing trials across a number of European countries
*Experience in a CRO
*Experience in Oncology or Haematology in hospital trials
*Experience in start-up, monitoring and close out of complex trials
*Experience as a Clinical Trial Monitor
*Experience in training a Pan-European team
*Knowledge of Pan-European regulatory requirements
*Knowledge of ICH/GCP guidelines
*Ability to travel up to 20%
