Clinical Project Manager

Laboratory- Clinical trials- Global- Clients- Phase II & III- CAPA- Study protocols- budgets- Clinical Research- Project Management- Monitoring- Quality Management

The opportunity has become available for a Clinical Project Manager to join a Medical Laboratory based in York. The company operate globally and have laboratories in the US, Singapore, Shanghai and across Europe and they specialise in delivering high-quality central laboratory testing services in support of clinical trials.

The company are looking for project managers to act as the central point of contact with clients for the clinical trials you will be managing. You will liaise closely with internal departments globally, including the laboratory, data management, logistics and quality assurance teams.

As a Clinical Project Manager you will:
*Acting as key point of contact for our clients for each project assigned to you.
*Participating in bid defence meetings as necessary and study kick off meetings with clients.
*Discussing, agreeing, documenting and monitoring study protocols with clients.
*Participating in the study set up and validation activities.
*Liaising with internal colleagues globally to ensure project delivery in accordance with client expectations.
*Participating in regular client progress meetings as required and following up on any resulting action points.
*Travelling to client sites as required and also travelling to investigator meetings when requested by clients. (This will involve some international travel.)
*Managing amendments to study protocols at clients' request.
*Maintaining accurate and complete study files for each project.
*Investigating client quality issues and assisting in the generation and implementation of corrective and preventative action (CAPA) plans as appropriate.
*Liaising with the contracts and proposals teams to advise on additional client requirements that may impact study budgets.
*Participating in a paid rota to provide out of hours on call cover to international colleagues and clients - approximately one week in twelve.

An ideal Clinical Project Manager will have:
*A background in Healthcare, laboratory or Pharmaceutical
*Life Science Degree
*Experience in project management and Clinical Research
*Experience in Quality Management is desirable
*Great communication skills
