Clinical Operations Coordinator- London

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Operations Coordinator to join an emerging contract bioservices company. As an organisation they provide innovative GMP manufacturing services and process development for novel cell and gene therapy products. They are opening a brand new state of the art manufacturing facility this year so there's lots of exciting growth planned.

Reporting to the COO and liaising closely with the manufacturing team, the Clinical Operations Coordinator will be responsible for facilitating the relationship between the client, the clinic, blood collection centres, the patient and any vendors (such as couriers). They will ensure that appropriate guidelines are available to third party sites and that appropriate documentation, such as virology screening and patient consent, is received to allow manufacture of products.

Responsibilities

*Manage relationship with patient or their family
*Manage relationship with physician
*Key point of contact with client
*Logistics including transport of starting material/tissue to the manufacturing team
*Responsible for ensuring that the necessary documentation is received
*Support clinical sites and aphaeresis centres with documentation and treatment administration

To be considered for this opportunity you must have a strong scientific background and experience of clinical operations activities. Additional experience in clinical trial operations for oncology is highly desirable. You will have excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills and a pro-active approach.
