Description

Business Development Manager - Barcelona (Medical Devices)

A great new opportunity has become available for a talented Business Development Manager to join an exciting and growing Medical Device company based in Barcelona. Working as part of a small team, you will use your background in Business Development within the Healthcare/Pharmaceutical/Life Science Sectors to generate new business and build on existing relationships.

Responsibilities:

- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Present to prospective clients, (Doctors and Investigators) across the healthcare/Life Science and Pharmaceutical sectors.
- Understand client needs across a range of functions, from drug discovery, clinical trials and personalised medicine.
- Build and develop a team underneath you.
- Design a sales pipeline and provide support in budget planning.
- Build brand awareness and increase the company reputation by supporting PR activities.
- Develop multi-channel sales, marketing and growth strategies.
- Collaborate closely with the R&D team to identify new sales campaign messages.

Requirements:

*Around 5-7 years of sales and business development experience
*Experience in healthcare industry, preferably in medical technologies, pharmaceuticals and/or hospital systems
*Self-motivated & target-driven
*Experience in compliance processes
*Ideally a passion for science and/or medicine
*Experienced in using Hubspot, Salesforce or similar
*Outstanding written and oral communication skills
*Experience in selling at C-suite level
*Experience in B2B sales
*Excellent presentation skills
*Entrepreneurial
*Advanced English at bilingual capacity if not native, other European languages are a plus
