Description

Scientific Sales Executive role within international food testing laboratory

Paying up to £36,000 per annum plus excellent bonus package with additional benefits

Due to investment and continued growth, my client is looking for a Scientific Sales Executive / Business development manager to bring in continued growth and expansion of their food testing laboratory based in Wolverhampton.

Responsibilities:

Your role as a Sales Executives/BD expert will be bringing in new business from key clients from UK.

You will be responsible for identifying leads from various activities including lead generation from marketing, networking, conference and workshops. Ability to present to clients, understanding their needs and to provide them with quotes and closing the deal.

Actively Seeking out new sales Opportunities through cold calling and networking. Identification and Utilisation of appropriate databases to support opportunity seeking. Setting up meetings with potential clients and evaluating their needs as well as their future potential needs.

Assessment of test requirements, methods and other client supplied study specifications and information in conjunction with Operational Management Team.

Produce high-quality proposals that present the optimum solution for the client whilst ensuring on or above plan profitability.



For you to be successful in this role:

Essential

You will need to be driven, hungry for success and unlimited appetite for growth and expansion.

You would need to demonstrate proven success of sales from you current or previous company.

Excellent understanding of how to promote via social media and conduct marketing campaigns

Tenacious and target driven

Executive level presence and influence

Excellent presentation, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills

Strong organisational, multi-tasking and time management skills



Desirable

Relevant food industry experience, including audit, food safety and NPD

Good understanding of target markets for Food Safety Solutions including food manufacturing companies, primary producers, storage & distribution companies etc.

General understanding of relevant quality and technical standards (e.g. BRC/ISO 17065)



Please note that this is an office based role (base in their office in Wolverhampton) with travelling to other parts of UK minimum four to five times per month.
